The Channels Enablement Specialist is primarily a technical resource for channel partners and Channel Account Managers, though they also need an excellent set of interpersonal skills. A typical day can include meetings with other technical staff within a partner organization, running demos and trials for end customers, testing new features, and planning an upcoming partner event or show.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build channel partner confidence in Vasion products by enabling channel partners to be autonomous in discussing, qualifying, demonstrating, and selling Vasion products to their end customers.
  • Onboard and train new channel partners (MSPs and VARs) to be technically proficient with Vasion products.
  • Perform Demos for new partners and with new technical assets within existing channel partners.
  • Ensure that channel partner staff have a great experience for their end customers by providing additional technical resources for their calls and serving as a quick reaction backstop for meetings scheduled with short notice.
  • Manage Not-For-Resale (NFR) instances for channel partners to use internally in their own environment.
  • Conduct virtual and in-person trainings with partner sales, solutions, and consulting teams, depending on the needs and scale of the channel partner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years experience in SaaS-related channel partner relations.
  • Experience working with external stakeholders, such as channel partner sales executives, solutions analysts/architects, and executive decision makers.
  • Ability to defuse adversarial situations with strong interpersonal skills and get engagements back to moving in a positive direction.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to travel upwards of 50%, depending on territory assignment and support needs of the channel partner community.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A strong sense of urgency in replying to channel partners.
  • Energy and enthusiasm for solving problems within our customers and partners.
  • Ability to defuse adversarial situations with strong interpersonal skills and get engagements back to moving in a positive direction.
  • Experience with Print Management Software.
  • Experience with Workflow and Electronic Content Management Software.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, & IdP’s (Azure, Okta, etc)
  • Working knowledge of print drivers and print languages
