The Paid Media Buyer (Google) will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing
large-scale performance marketing campaigns across Google Ads platforms including Search,
Shopping, Display, YouTube, and Performance Max.
A core part of this role is driving continuous experimentation with creative, ad copy, bidding
strategies, and targeting approaches to uncover scalable growth opportunities. This position is
central to ensuring Valerie’s Brands and Investment Growth Platform achieve efficient ad spend,
measurable ROI, and sustainable growth.
Accountabilities
Develop, execute, and scale Google Ads campaigns that deliver on sales, leads,ROAS, CAC, and revenue growth targets.
Collaborate closely with POD and Creative teams to align campaign execution with growth priorities and brand positioning.
Execute and optimize all strategies coming from the POD, ensuring campaigns directly drive business metrics like ROAS, revenue, and customer acquisition efficiency.
Own end-to-end campaign management: keyword research, ad copy creation, feed optimization, audience targeting, bidding, and budget allocation.
Drive a culture of experimentation by systematically testing different creatives, ad copy, bidding models, audience segments, and landing pages.
Monitor and optimize campaigns daily to maximize efficiency across ROAS, CPA, and conversion volume.
Conduct structured A/B tests and translate insights into broader growth strategies.
Leverage data insights, attribution models, and GA4 for smarter decision-making.
Partner with Analytics to refine tracking, reporting, and dashboards for transparency and accuracy.
Stay updated with Google Ads innovations (Performance Max, Demand Gen, automation) and apply test-and-learn best practices.

Ideal Behaviour, Qualifications & Skills
6–7 years of proven experience as a Google Ads Buyer/Manager in growth-focused environments.
Demonstrated expertise across Search, Shopping, Display, YouTube, and Performance Max campaigns.
Strong track record of running structured experiments with creative, copy, targeting, bidding strategies, and landing pages.
Deep knowledge of automated bidding strategies (Target ROAS, Target CPA, Max conversions) and when to deploy them.
Skilled in conversion tracking and attribution (GA4, enhanced conversions, server-side tracking, GTM).
Analytical and data-driven mindset with ability to derive actionable insights from tests
and performance reports.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to present learnings and next steps clearly.
Hands-on experience with Google Merchant Center and product feed optimization.
Familiarity with Looker Studio dashboards, automation scripts, or advanced tools is a
plus.
