Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate all QA activities across software testing life cycle phases including requirement analysis, test planning, design, execution, defect tracking, and closure.

Develop, review, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts focused on backend database validation and integration.

Perform advanced backend testing scenarios such as database validation, SQL query testing, data integrity, performance, and security testing.

Collaborate with development, product management, and operations teams to identify, analyze, and resolve defects effectively.

Monitor and report testing progress, metrics, and quality status to project stakeholders.

Implement and enforce QA best practices and standards aligned with industry norms and organizational policies.

Required Skills:

Lead the end-to-end quality assurance process for complex web applications for a seamless user experience through rigorous exploratory, functional, and regression testing.

8-10 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on backend testing and database validation.

Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) principles and methodologies.

Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries for various database platforms (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server).

Experience in backend testing techniques including data validation, stored procedures, triggers, and database performance.

Hands-on experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
