Development Program Specialist

The Development Program Specialist II will apply their skills to a functional team of organizational priority within a development program. The team will be responsible for providing resources such as research, gift processing, prospect tracking, stewardship, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Fluency in English and one additional language: Spanish or Portuguese (spoken and written).

• Experience building and maintaining professional working relationships with colleagues, clients, or external stakeholders.

• Experience producing routine reports and using data to support tasks or decisions.

• Experience managing multiple tasks concurrently while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.

• Experience in business writing, including drafting, editing, and proofreading professional documents.

• Experience working collaboratively across teams or functional areas.

• Education, training, or professional experience related to the principles and practices of the relevant field.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience implementing complex or multi‑step operational processes.

• Experience using existing technology systems and tools to achieve program or operational objectives.

• Experience coordinating projects, particularly those involving multiple stakeholders or timelines.

• Experience with database management, including data entry, maintenance, or reporting.

• Experience implementing strategic or programmatic goals.

• Understanding of basic accounting practices, such as budgeting, expense tracking, or financial documentation.
