Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Manager – Business Development – AOC is responsible for increasing AOC sales growth by assisting Account Managers with lead generation, which entails contacting and qualifying active and passive prospective clients, using a screening process to assess their needs and viability, and presenting to the respective Associate Manager or Sales Director. In addition, Business Development supports AOC sales objectives by participating in and completing various assignments that lead to market research in key areas.

The base pay estimate for this role is $89,000 - $151,300 annually. The final offer will depend on the skills, experience, and qualifications of the selected candidate. This range is for base pay only and does not include bonuses or other compensation. This position is eligible for commission. Bonuses are not guaranteed and are awarded based on company and individual performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation)

  • Responsible for developing new client agreements and job orders.• Prospects via phone, text, email, and social media, focusing on identifying anesthesia staffing needs and job openings with potential and existing clients.• Reaches achievable sales and production goals set by the leadership team and managed through the AOC sales, calling, and account plan using our Bullhorn CRM.• Collaborates with AOC account management and recruitment peers to develop new sales opportunities.• Partners with Account Executives to create strategies to land and expand accounts.• Leverages tools such as ZoomInfo, Outreach, LinkedIn, and more.• Manages activity and metrics to drive decision-making.• Attends trade conferences and in-person client meetings.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSAs):

  • 5 years of prior relevant experience required in healthcare staffing sales. • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate our value proposition and skills to navigate sales to decision makers.• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a large database of accounts and contacts.• Experience and success with cold calling/prospecting; understanding of what it’s like to have a monthly quota.• Experience working in a modern technology-driven, data-centric environment.• Curiosity, persistence, coachability, and a sense of urgency.• Someone with a growth mindset who wants to learn and develop professionally.
