Growth Product Engineer

Uptime.com, a leader in website monitoring solutions, is seeking a talented and motivated Growth Product Engineer to join our remote team. As a Growth Product Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our company by applying your technical expertise and strategic mindset. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and product teams to optimize our products and develop innovative strategies for customer acquisition and retention. Responsibilities:

1. Product Optimization:

• Identify opportunities for growth and improvement by analyzing data and conducting user research.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to optimize user acquisition, retention, and monetization.
• Design and execute A/B tests to improve key product metrics and user experience.

• Develop and maintain scalable systems and infrastructure to support growth initiatives.
• Work closely with the engineering team to prioritize and implement product enhancements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.

• Conceptualize and implement growth strategies that align with business objectives.
• Translate customer needs and market trends into actionable product features and enhancements.
• Conduct competitive analysis to identify differentiation opportunities.

• Analyze user data to derive insights and make data-driven decisions.
• Monitor and report on key product metrics and KPIs related to growth initiatives.

• Collaborate with marketing and product teams on go-to-market strategies and product launches.
• Work closely with the customer support team to gather feedback and improve the customer experience.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Strong background in software engineering, with experience in frontend and backend development.
• Proficient in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby.
• Experience with data analysis, A/B testing, and optimization.
• Understanding of user acquisition, retention, and monetization strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
• Experience with growth hacking and product optimization in a SaaS or technology company is a plus.
