Senior Manager Medical Affairs, Metabolic Disorders Science

Ultragenyx is seeking a Senior Manager Medical Affairs to support the development and execution of medical strategies in Japan. The ideal candidate will have expertise in nutrition science, biochemistry, and/or pathologic nutrition or a related field, and be able to analyze and report findings from scientific literature and conference proceedings.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PhD or MS) in Nutrition Science, biochemistry and/or pathologic nutrition or a related field
• Research experience in Nutrition Science and/or Biochemistry and/or metabolic disorders
• 3+ years post graduate experience in pharmaceutical industry, research or other relevant experience
• Clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian (e.g., patient counseling, nutrition management, or practical work in clinical settings) is preferred
• Native level Japanese and business level English proficiency (reading, writing, and communication)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in analyzing, summarizing, and presenting scientific content
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
