Overview

We are seeking SecurityTeam Leaders who will be responsible and accountable for the direct management and oversight of a security team’s physical security operations. This role focuses on the planning, coordination, and execution of site and movement security, as well as the preparation, rehearsal, and execution of defensive contingency responses designed to rapidly de-escalate threats and stabilize situations.

The Team Leader operates at the tactical level, translating operational guidance into on-the-ground execution while maintaining constant situational awareness and implementing proactive threat reductions measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and oversee physical security operations for personnel, equipment, and materials at fixed sites and during vehicular movements between sites
• Manage checkpoint security operations and access control measures
• Plan, rehearse, and execute security contingency and defensive response actions
• Identify potential security threats through pattern analysis and environmental awareness, communicating risk promptly when indicators are observed
• Directly manage and lead actions to mitigate, contain, and reduce identified security threats
• Maintain continuous accountability of assigned personnel and equipment
• Coordinate and oversee additional physical security-related tasks as directed by senior leadership
• Ensure team readiness through rehearsals, briefings, and adherence to established procedures

Required Qualifications

·Prior military service with senior non-commissioned or commissioned officer leadership experience, to include one or more of the following:

oE-8 or above (1SG, SCPO, Operations SGM, CSM, CMC)

oSpecial Forces Team Leader

oCompany or Battalion Command positions

oTeam Leader in a Special Mission Unit

oRanger Platoon Sergeant

·Extensive experience leading personnel in high-risk, operational environments

·Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and execute complex security operations

·Strong leadership presence with the ability to enforce standards and maintain discipline

·Experience managing personnel readiness, equipment accountability, and operational reporting

Preferred Qualifications

·Prior experience in private security, contracting, or deployed advisory roles

·Proven ability to operate independently while coordinating with senior leadership

·Strong decision-making skills under pressure

·Mission-first mindset with a focus on contractor care and operational excellence
