Location: Canada, work from home

Annual Salary: 20 CAD per hour

Contract: 12 fixed term month contract, 37.5 hours per week

You’ll be responsible for helping to develop and maintain Twinkl’s thriving online community in Canada. Your time will be spent working on developing social channels, creating content for our platforms, outreach, coming up with innovative ideas, marketing campaigns and executing them, finding new ways to engage with and grow these communities and reaching people beyond them. You’ll be able to use your creativity to create new, engaging content to showcase our current Twinkl resources and products in inspirational ways to our followers.

Your weekly activity could include:

  • Writing English and French content (if fluent in both)
  • Creating content, copywriting and maintaining our social media channels
  • Creating content, copywriting subtitles and producing video content including face-to-camera content
  • Engaging with members of our online communities
  • Sharing Twinkl resources and using your expertise to advise our followers
  • Developing and building relationships with the communities, brand ambassadors and partners as well as spotting opportunities for paid marketing that will boost brand awareness
  • Creating quick posts and light content
  • Using outreach to grow our online presence, build community and increase our following
  • Spotting trends within the Canadian market and beyond, and being able to respond/ pivot quickly to make the most of these trends.
  • Be the outward facing voice of Twinkl and offering advice and support where needed
  • Scheduling content for publishing
  • Innovating, planning, collaborating and executing marketing campaigns for products, holidays, events, partnerships and promotions
  • Gathering insights from our community to share with your team

The team is made up of content creators, designers, illustrators, SEO executives and fellow marketing team members who are dedicated to help educators across Canada. We are a friendly and fun team who put innovation at the forefront of everything we do.

Requirements

We're interested in anyone who meets one, or a combination of the following:

  • Fluent in English with strong written and verbal skills
  • Fluent in French with strong written and verbal skills is a bonus
  • Having teaching experience in Canada
  • Experience working with Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and/or Pinterest
  • Experience with filming and producing video content
  • Experience as a content creator/influencer with successfully grown and maintained social media channels
  • An awareness of social media trends, Canadian culture, and what makes educators interact with a page
  • Be a fantastic communicator who thrives when working in a close-knit team
  • Have excellent spelling and grammar
  • Be passionate about using social media to create strong and supportive communities
  • Be able to work under own initiative with minimum supervision but also as part of a team
  • Be organised and adaptive, able to work to tight deadlines and manage your time effectively
