About the Role

We are seeking a remote animator/illustrator (contract) for a company providing software services. This is a remote contract opportunity for a single project with potential for future collaboration.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Illustrate and animate a BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) graph in an engaging and visually appealing manner.
  • Collaborate with the project team to understand the software functionality and key aspects to highlight in the animation.
  • Conceptualize and storyboard the animation sequence to effectively communicate the process flow.
  • Utilize cartooning and animation techniques to bring the BPMN graph to life.
  • Ensure consistency in character designs, animation style, and branding throughout the project.
  • Deliver the final animation in the required video format(s) and resolution(s).

Requirements

  • Mid-level experience in animation, illustration, and cartooning.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard animation software (e.g., Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of animation principles, such as timing, squash and stretch, anticipation, and follow-through.
  • Ability to create engaging and expressive character animations.
  • Familiarity with BPMN diagrams and process flows (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
