About the Role

Our client, a modern furniture retail brand with a focus on clean and understated design aesthetics is seeking a freelance image editor. The primary requirement is to edit approximately 100-150 product images per month, with typical editing tasks including lighting adjustments, colour correction, removing creases and folds from fabrics, adding outdoor scenery to window panes, inserting plants and ceiling lamps, and removing stray wires and wall sockets from photos. For every 10 photos, the required turnaround time is 24 to 36 hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit product images for the furniture retail brand, ensuring a consistent and polished look aligned with their design aesthetic.
  • Perform various image editing tasks, including lighting adjustments, colour correction, removing creases and folds from fabrics, adding outdoor scenery, inserting plants and lamps, and removing unwanted elements.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and ensure accurate and realistic edits that enhance the visual appeal of the products.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an image editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing furniture and product photography editing.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard image editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar tools.
  • Excellent skills in color correction, lighting adjustments, object removal/addition, and realistic compositing techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet tight turnaround times.
  • Availability to handle a volume of 100-150 images per month on a freelance basis.
