Mapping City/Country Expert

The Mapping City/Country Expert role supports transit and mapping data quality by providing local market expertise and improving city and country-level data accuracy.

Requirements

• Communicate with internal teams and external partners
• Create city-level transit data policies
• Identify user expectations, data gaps, and transit-related issues
• Improve transit data models
• Validate and review updated transit data
• Edit and maintain different types of transit data
• Resolve complex mapping and transit data issues
• Support Program Managers in communication with data providers and partners
• Conduct field research to verify transit information and user issues
• Support outage and alert management for assigned cities
• Manage city-specific data pipelines
• Create country-specific guideline documents
• Provide local expertise for mapping policies and regional regulations
• Support mapping operations with knowledge of traffic laws, landmarks, and political mapping formats
• Review and troubleshoot mapping and operational issues
• Act as a point of contact for country-specific mapping questions
• Perform quality audits and identify operational errors
• Review imported mapping data before system integration
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure correct political and regional formats are applied
