  • Respond to operational alerts and incidents as part of an on-call rotation (Pager Duty) to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Support Agile and Scrum sprint activities by implementing configuration changes and system updates aligned with sprint deliverables.
  • Document system changes, configurations, and release updates in collaboration with development and DevSecOps teams.
Web Platform Support
  • Support Drupal 11 environments through configuration updates, smoke testing, and basic development tasks.
  • Coordinate with developers and testers to validate deployments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure secure configurations.
  • Assist with environment migrations, automation, and monitoring using tools such as New Relic, Splunk, and Akamai.
AI & Cybersecurity Enablement
  • Collaborate with leadership to analyze bot traffic patterns and identify malicious or unwanted automated access.
  • Explore opportunities to integrate AI-based monitoring and pattern recognition tools to enhance security posture and operational awareness.
  • Support the implementation of Zero Trust and continuous monitoring practices.
Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in Linux system administration within a web hosting or enterprise IT environment.
  • Experience with Apache/Nginx, FTP/SFTP, DNS management, and firewall configuration.
  • Basic familiarity with Drupal (8–11) and experience supporting content management systems.
  • Working knowledge of Bash scripting, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience supporting Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting federal web hosting environments or working with DOJ, DHS, or other cabinet-level agencies.
  • Familiarity with AI-based monitoring, bot mitigation, or cloud security analytics.
  • Understanding of FedRAMP, FISMA, and Zero Trust security principles.
  • Exposure to New Relic, Splunk, or Akamai CDN for performance monitoring.
  • Linux certifications (CompTIA Linux+, RHCSA, or similar).
  • Active DOJ or federal agency clearance.
