Data Scientist, Analytics

TRM Labs is a blockchain intelligence company committed to fighting crime and creating a safer world. The company is looking for a Data Scientist, Analytics to join their mission-driven team. The Data Scientist will have end-to-end ownership of generating insights, developing custom models, and building critical analytics products. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of relational databases, experience exploring complex datasets, and a high tolerance for ambiguity.

Requirements

• Academic background in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics or Physics.
• 5+ years of experience working in an analytical role.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g. SQL)
• Experience exploring complex datasets to identify hidden insights and generate compelling stories
• Customer facing experience
• Proven experience with at least one programming language (Python preferred)
• High tolerance for ambiguity
• Delivery-oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Influencing decisions with information
