As a Senior QA Analyst, you’ll guide a small, focused QA team responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality within your assigned pod. You’ll coordinate daily testing operations, ensure comprehensive test coverage, and act as the bridge between QA, production, and development, helping the team deliver confident, player-ready releases.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Pod-Level QA Operations
    • Coordinate daily testing priorities and assignments to ensure timely, thorough test execution
    • Monitor productivity and ensure QA standards are met across all testing efforts
  • Guide and Mentor
    • Support and coach junior QA Analysts to improve test accuracy, efficiency, and bug quality
    • Provide feedback on test suites, coverage, and documentation to raise team standards
  • Drive Test Planning & Execution
    • Translate feature specs, user stories, and design documents into actionable test cases and coverage plans
    • Create and maintain detailed test cases, ensuring traceability from design to test validation
    • Execute assigned testing, including regression, feature, and hotfix validation
    • Prioritize testing based on development timelines and release schedules.
  • Champion Quality & Communication
    • Identify potential quality risks, dependencies, and blockers early.
    • Ensure test results are properly logged, and defects are clearly documented with reproducible steps and supporting data
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Design to communicate findings and support issue resolution
  • Optimize & Measure Performance
    • Track pod-level QA metrics to identify coverage gaps, recurring issues, or process inefficiencies
    • Recommend improvements that reduce retests, improve turnaround time, and strengthen the team’s skill set
    • Contribute to ongoing QA process refinement and studio-wide best practices
  • Other Duties as Required - Execute critical retests, release validation, and post-hotfix verifications as needed to maintain live quality

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 4+ years of hands-on QA experience in mobile or game development, with at least 1 year in a lead or senior role
  • Proven ability to coordinate small QA teams and manage testing across multiple features or releases
  • Strong understanding of test planning, execution, and reporting for F2P mobile games
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and escalate issues
  • A proactive mindset with attention to detail, ownership, and accountability
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where priorities shift and communication is key
  • A passion for mobile gaming and a genuine curiosity about what makes great player experiences

Bonus Points

  • Experience testing Unity-based mobile titles
  • Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, or other test management systems
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of QA metrics
  • Prior experience working in pod-based or cross-functional team structures

Benefits

  • 15 days holiday in addition to bank holidays to relax and refresh throughout the year - with every 5 years of service, you’ll receive an extra 5 days!
  • Hybrid Working: We work in the office 2 days a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Wednesday is an optional office day. Lunch is provided on all 3 days.
