United States onlyWe are seeking a Sr. QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications through advanced testing practices, leadership, and collaboration across development, product, and operations teams.
Requirements
- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases across web, mobile, API, and backend systems.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure testability and quality are built into requirements and design.
- Perform manual functional, regression, and integration testing as needed.
- Provide clear test artifact documentation on test case execution results.
- Log bugs/issues via an issue tracking tool and help determine priority of reported bugs.
- Report on test progress, coverage, defect trends, and release readiness to project stakeholders.
- Support and collaborate with the automation team to develop, maintain, and scale automated test frameworks.
- Coordinate with QA Manager to track test and defect status throughout the SDLC
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members, providing technical leadership and promoting best practices.
- Provide maintenance test support by executing software release smoke, sanity, and regression testing.
- Handle special projects or other duties as may be required from time to time.
