The ideal candidate will showcase his or her knowledge and expertise by building and providing solutions through an integrated suite of media platforms, including television, Internet, mobile, OTT Streaming and other emerging product.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain scalable microservices with Node.js.
- Implement APIs and backend features powering web and streaming platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions meeting both user and business needs.
- Ensure high code quality using best practices, unit testing, and design patterns.
- Optimize applications for performance, high availability, and high load environments.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working with Node.js.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with microservices and RESTful API design.
- Proficiency with Git and Docker.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or current enrollment in such a program.
- Knowledge of design patterns and software engineering best practices.
- Experience with high-availability / high-load systems.
- Familiarity with networking, Linux, and distributed systems.
- Understanding of video delivery, encoding, playback, and streaming technologies.
- Experience developing B2B SaaS products.
- Strong English communication skills for working with international teams.
