What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Functional Analyst to join our team and work across multiple product squads. The Functional Analyst will play a key role in bridging business needs with technology solutions, ensuring functional clarity, alignment, and documentation throughout the product lifecycle. This position is cross-team and will require strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
Duties and Responsabilities:
- Translate business requirements into clear, functional specifications.
- Define the “how” from a functional perspective to ensure aligned expectations between business, product, and technology teams.
- Create and maintain updated functional documentation for ongoing projects.
- Build functional documentation for existing products that currently lack it.
- Supervise and support QA teams in creating and validating test cases.
- Ensure that test cases cover the functional scenarios defined in the requirements.
- Actively contribute to product roadmaps.
- Propose product enhancements based on market trends, user needs, and best practices.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, user manuals, and other relevant materials.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum of +3 years in a Functional Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role.
- Proven experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
- Experience collaborating with multiple product teams simultaneously.
- Requirements elicitation and analysis techniques.
- Functional documentation (user stories, use cases, workflows, diagrams).
- Basic understanding of QA processes and functional validation.
- Awareness of digital product market trends and emerging technologies is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactivity in identifying functional gaps and suggesting improvements.
- Collaboration and adaptability in multidisciplinary teams.
- Product-oriented mindset with focus on continuous improvement.
- Advanced level of English and/or Portuguese (desirable)
- Technical background in the following technologies: JavaScript, Node.Js, React, Git, Docker (desirable)
