Job Title: Operations Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Operations Logistics Coordinator is focused on supporting the day-to-day execution of logistics and transportation operations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for shipping-related questions across the company, helping ensure orders move accurately and on time by coordinating with carriers, suppliers, and internal warehouse teams.

You’ll work closely with teams across Operations, Customer Service, and Warehousing to resolve shipping issues, manage exceptions, and provide clear, timely updates. This is a great role for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to build foundational experience in logistics and operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for shipping-related questions across the company, providing timely and accurate guidance to internal teams
  • Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and warehouses to ensure timely and accurate movement of shipments
  • Monitor shipment status, proactively identify delays or exceptions, and drive issues through resolution
  • Investigate past-due orders and carrier-related issues by contacting suppliers and transportation providers
  • Coordinate special shipping arrangements and set up/manage carrier pickups, including bulk returns, freight orders, and alternate ship methods
  • Process, submit, and manage shipping claims in partnership with the Data Management team
  • Collect required documentation, investigate rejected claims, and attempt resubmission when appropriate
  • Track and monitor claim submission success rates and escalate trends or recurring issues as needed
  • Support Customer Service with shipping-related questions and Finance with shipping disputes and documentation
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to shipping issues, resolutions, and outcomes
  • Assist Operations leadership with carrier communications, follow-ups, and logistics-related support

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must have 2-4 years of experience in operations role
  • Available to work full shifts until 3pm PST
  • Must not have had any disciplinary actions regarding attendance, conduct and/or performance in the past 90 days, and must not be approaching such action.
  • Self motivated to get your tasks done timely
  • Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English
