Senior Node.JS Developer Lead

Responsibilities:

• Lead backend development using Node.js, including architecture and system design.
• Translate business problems into clean, efficient, and scalable code.
• Own and improve performance, scalability, and reliability across the product.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and other teams to define and execute priorities.
• Improve developer productivity, technical processes, and reduce tech debt.
• Maintain a high bar for code quality and best practices across the team.
• Participate in code reviews, write technical documentation, and troubleshoot issues.
• Work cross-functionally with design, customer support, and product stakeholders

Requirements:

• 8+ years of professional experience building scalable backend applications with Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and services.
• Solid understanding of Docker and containerized deployments.
• Familiarity with Vue.js 3 and React Native is a plus.
• Experience building secure, production-ready software in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Ability to understand and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent spoken and written English—you’ll be collaborating closely with a global team.
• Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of systems.
• Startup experience is a bonus.
