RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide engineering support for the Guest network. This will include monitoring active sites, triaging downed appliances and network outages across a vast network.
- Configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco WLAN infrastructure including Wireless LAN
- Configuration and troubleshooting of Juniper routers and Layer 2/3 switches,
- Operations and Maintenance of security platforms such as Cisco Adaptive Security Appliances (ASA) and Identity Services Engine (ISE).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience in enterprise network implementation and support
- 3-5 years of experience in wireless infrastructure support in a large environment
- 3-5 years of experience in LAN infrastructure support in a large environment
- Experience with the configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco and Juniper equipment. This will include Infoblox, ASA Firewalls, PAN devices as well as PSNs.
- 3-5 years of experience with configuration and support of Cisco switches and routers
- Demonstrated knowledge of switching principals including VLANs, 802.1q Trunking and 802.3ad Link Aggregation
- Experience with Cisco ISE or equivalent network access control applications
- Experience with Cisco Prime Infrastructure or equivalent enterprise management applications
- Experience with wired and wireless network design and implementation in medium to large enterprise or hospital environments.
- Monitoring application experience with SNMP, Syslog services, and data.
- Experience preferred but not required for VMware ESXi, and virtualized environments.
- Experience with Juniper enterprise equipment desired, switches, routers, firewalls.
- Vast knowledge of Juniper Mist monitoring platform
- Must have knowledge of NOC triage and troubleshooting.
- VMWare server and general virtual machine knowledge preferred.
- Ability to work both within a team and individually with minimal supervision.
- Must successfully pass drug screening
- Must be able to pass a full background check and/or obtain a Government clearance.
