About The Role:
As a QA Engineer specializing in performance testing, you will focus on validating the scalability, reliability, and performance of SAP applications for one of our large US clients. Leveraging your deep expertise in LoadRunner, you will design, script, and execute performance tests that ensure critical business processes run efficiently under expected and peak workloads. Your work will play a vital role in delivering stable, high-performing enterprise applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute performance test plans, scenarios, and scripts using LoadRunner for SAP applications.
- Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing to validate system performance against business requirements.
- Collaborate with SAP functional teams, developers, and infrastructure engineers to gather performance requirements and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on test results to stakeholders, highlighting risks and recommending tuning or optimization strategies.
- Maintain and enhance performance testing frameworks and reusable scripts for regression and scalability validation.
- Provide expert-level guidance on LoadRunner scripting (Web, SAP GUI, and other relevant protocols).
- Ensure test environments and data are prepared and aligned with real-world production usage.
- Participate in design and code reviews to advocate for performance considerations early in the lifecycle.
- Document all testing processes, methodologies, and findings for client reporting and internal knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience with LoadRunner, including script development, parameterization, and correlation.
- Hands-on experience testing SAP applications (SAP GUI, SAP Web, Fiori, or related modules).
- Solid understanding of performance engineering concepts including bottleneck analysis, capacity planning, and workload modeling.
- Proficiency with performance monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, SAP Solution Manager, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret performance metrics and logs.
- Experience collaborating in Agile or hybrid SDLC environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to additional performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Neoload).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of performance tests.
- Experience working with large enterprise clients and mission-critical SAP systems.
- ISTQB, Certified Performance Testing, or other relevant certifications.
