Job Title:Legal Admin
Requirements
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling, document preparation, and file organization.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, client communications, and formal letters.
- Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents such as engagement letters, briefs, forms, and filings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital filing systems and ensure proper document version control.
- Assist with matter management, including opening new matters, updating case information, and tracking deadlines.
- Coordinate with clients to arrange meetings, gather required documents, and ensure efficient communication flow.
- Perform basic legal research tasks and data entry as needed.
- Support billing processes, including time entry, invoice preparation, and payment follow-up.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required to support smooth legal operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a legal administrative, legal assistant, or administrative support role.
- Familiarity with legal terminology, legal document formats, and general law office processes.
- Experience supporting Australian law firms or familiarity with Australian legal procedures is highly preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and document-management platforms; experience with legal practice management software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
