Job Description:

We are seeking a Junior Lawyer with a strong interest and some experience in Intellectual Property (IP) law. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and eager to support international trademark and IP processes. Experience with systems like Patricia and exposure to IP practice management tasks will be advantageous. This role is perfect for a junior legal professional looking to gain deeper exposure to IP matters in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor email inboxes for incoming client and law firm correspondence.

  • Update the practice management system (Patricia) with important dates and deadlines.

  • Process correspondence from international IP law firms.

  • Handle incoming notifications from various IP offices.

  • Input costs and liaise with attorneys for matter updates and client billing.

  • Prepare and maintain client schedules:

    • Generate trademark schedules across multiple jurisdictions.

    • Format schedules and data pulled from the Patricia system.

  • Perform general legal administrative tasks:

    • Format legal correspondence and letters for clients.

    • Prepare client costing breakdowns.

    • Assist with various administrative and support duties as neede


Requirements

  • Law degree from an accredited institution; current or recent admission to practice is a plus.

  • 1–3 years of legal experience, preferably within an IP or trademark-focused environment.

  • Familiarity with IP practice systems (Patricia or similar) is highly desirable.

  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

  • Excellent written communication and document formatting skills.

  • Comfortable working across multiple jurisdictions and time zones.

  • Able to work independently in a fully remote setup while collaborating effectively with teams.
