This is a remote position.
- Leverage an existing network of General Counsel and in-house legal leaders to generate new business for Teams Squared and LexOps.
- Own the full sales cycle for in-house legal clients ; from first conversation through to signed agreement and first placement.
- Build and manage a pipeline of active GC-level prospects
- Represent Teams Squared and LexOps at legal industry events, GC forums and online channels.
- Develop and maintain deep, long-term relationships with GC clients in consultative manner
- Transition newly won clients into the AM team for day-to-day management while retaining the senior relationship.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships - introducing LexOps services where appropriate.
- Provide market intelligence to the founding team on in-house legal trends and competitor activity.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team on targeted marketing to the GC audience - events, LinkedIn, content.
- Work with the founding team to develop a GC-specific service proposition and pricing structure where needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a senior B2B sales, business development or partnerships role - legal services, legal tech or professional services strongly preferred.
- Existing, active network of General Counsel and in-house legal leaders in Australia
- Proven track record of opening and converting senior-level client relationships.
- Commercially sophisticated and able to have strategic conversations at GC level.
- Strong personal brand in the Australian legal community is a significant advantage.
- Self-directed and entrepreneurial, comfortable building from scratch with minimal infrastructure.
- Excellent communicator and relationship builder.
- Based in either Sydney or Melbourne able to attend in-person events and client meetings nationally.
