Summary The Vice President, SPD Solutions is a senior executive leader responsible for driving the overall strategic vision, growth, and operational excellence of the SPD (Sterile Processing Department) Solutions team. This individual will oversee all aspects of the SPD Solutions function, including national implementation strategy, customer success, field operations, and P&L accountability. This role is charged with leading a high-impact team of regional leaders, Sr. Managers, Specialists, and Technicians, ensuring execution aligns with corporate goals and customer expectations. In This Position, You Will Have the Opportunity To
- Define and execute the long-term strategic plan for SPD Solutions, aligning with Aspen’s commercial strategy and growth initiatives.
- Provide visionary leadership and direction to a national team responsible for SPD implementation, operations, and customer engagement.
- Oversee performance, development, and succession planning of field leadership and team members.
- Own the SPD Solutions P&L, including forecasting, budgeting, and cost management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key IDN and hospital system executives to position Aspen as a strategic partner.
- Develop and monitor performance metrics (KPIs) to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Product, and Clinical teams to support go-to-market strategies and identify new revenue opportunities.
- Lead change management initiatives to drive operational improvements and scalability of SPD Solutions programs.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, credentialing, and contractual obligations.
- Represent Aspen at industry events, trade shows, and key client meetings to elevate brand presence and thought leadership.
What You Need to Succeed in This Position
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, surgical instrumentation, or medical device sectors.
- Proven track record of leading large, dispersed field teams and managing national-scale operations.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage and influence senior healthcare executives and internal stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of SPD workflows, hospital operations, and IDN contract structures.
- Demonstrated financial acumen and experience managing departmental budgets and P&L.
- Excellent strategic thinking, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and relevant data analytics tools.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% as needed to support team and client engagements.
