As the Director of Product Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the marketing strategy for StrongDM's suite of products. This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, particularly in access management. You will work closely with the product and engineering teams, marketing and sales, and other cross-functional teams to articulate our solutions' technical benefits and business value to the market.

What You'll Do:

  • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive product marketing strategy that clearly communicates StrongDM's value proposition to the enterprise cybersecurity market.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Use insights to inform product development and marketing strategies and create competitive battle cards.
  • Content Development: Lead the creation of high-impact content that resonates with target audiences, including technical papers, case studies, blog posts, and sales enablement materials.
  • Product Messaging and Positioning: Craft compelling messaging and positioning that highlights the unique benefits of StrongDM's solutions, differentiating us in the competitive landscape.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Design and implement effective go-to-market plans for product launches and ongoing promotions in collaboration with sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Demand Generation Support: Work closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns that drive demand, generate leads, and build brand awareness.
  • Sales Enablement: Equip sales teams with the tools, resources, and training they need to successfully sell StrongDM's products, including competitive insights, key selling points, and objection handling.
  • Customer Advocacy: Foster strong relationships with customers to develop case studies and testimonials that showcase the success and impact of StrongDM's solutions.
  • Event and Webinar Management: Lead the planning and execution of product-related events and webinars to engage prospects, customers, and partners.
  • You will have a significant impact on market awareness and perception of StrongDM as a leader in the access management space.
  • You will measurably increase inbound demand generation, lead conversion rates, and sales pipeline growth attributable to product marketing initiatives.
  • You will have positive feedback from sales teams on the effectiveness of sales enablement tools and resources.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, with a significant portion in the enterprise cloud cybersecurity space.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies in a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Strong understanding of the cybersecurity industry, with specific knowledge in cloud, access management, and infrastructure security.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and technical content.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and lead through influence.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • $180,000- $220,000 + bonus + equity salary packages
