In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of a fast-moving People Ops function - coordinating onboarding, supporting payroll and benefits administration, maintaining HRIS records, contributing to the employee experience and lifecycle, and serving as a reliable point of contact for employee inquiries. You’ll work closely with our People Operations Manager to keep the engine running smoothly while building your People Ops career.

You’ll crush this role if:

  • You have prior experience supporting the administration of a People Operations team in a startup environment - you know the pace, and you’re not fazed by it.
  • You are proactive and process-driven - you use available resources to find answers, seek opportunities to make improvements, and you’re comfortable asking for guidance and support when you need it.
  • You thrive in a team environment and can juggle multiple tasks and priorities. You are organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable when priorities shift.
  • You communicate with clarity and empathy - employees feel heard when they come to you, and you deliver information in a way that’s straightforward and easy to act on.
  • You have experience working with at least one HRIS with ownership of administrative tasks in the platform.
  • You have a working knowledge of timecard administration, including state-specific meal and rest break compliance requirements.
  • You are comfortable using AI tools in your day-to-day work and understand how to use them thoughtfully - you view AI as a resource, not a shortcut.
  • You handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and discretion.
