As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will support the design and implementation of AWS infrastructure, assist in building and maintaining data pipelines, and collaborate with data scientists and engineers to productionize models.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of AWS experience with basic knowledge of core services (EC2, S3, Lambda) and foundational understanding of VPC and IAM concepts.
- Basic Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform or willingness to learn, including understanding of version control integration.
- Foundational data engineering concepts including familiarity with data formats (JSON, CSV, Parquet) and basic SQL skills;
- Container fundamentals with Docker and basic understanding of orchestration concepts; willingness to learn Kubernetes/EKS or ECS.
- Strong scripting foundation in Python and basic Bash skills, with solid Git/GitHub workflow knowledge and eagerness to learn CI/CD automation.
- Interest in observability and monitoring with basic CloudWatch experience; curiosity about MLOps concepts like model versioning and deployment strategies, with strong desire to grow in this area.
