Patient Care Coordinator

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Virtual Assistant to support our healthcare operations. The ideal candidate has prior medical experience, is professional and confident on camera, and can support patient-facing and backend clinical workflows.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Manage prescription-related tasks, including refill requests and coordination with providers and pharmacies
• Handle patient check-in and check-out, ensuring accurate documentation and smooth patient flow
• Process and track referrals to specialists, including follow-ups and required documentation
• Create and update patient action plans as directed by providers
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare documentation standards
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and internal team members via phone and video calls

Requirements

• Medical background required (clinic, hospital, or healthcare virtual setting)
• Experience in medical administrative support
• Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and patient coordination
• Presentable and professional on camera (required to be on camera during shift)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment

• Working Hours: Between 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM CST
