In this role, you will be tasked with designing, implementing, and maintaining network solutions that ensure exceptional performance and reliability for our clients. Your expertise in ScienceLogic will empower you to monitor network health, troubleshoot issues proactively, and optimize our infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust network solutions aligned with client needs and industry standards.
  • Utilize ScienceLogic monitoring tools to monitor network performance, identify trends, and mitigate potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum uptime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions into existing infrastructures.
  • Maintain and configure network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and monitoring systems.
  • Document network layouts, configurations, and procedures for ongoing reference and compliance.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior network engineers when necessary.
  • Stay abreast of developments in network technologies and ScienceLogic tools to enhance operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on using ScienceLogic monitoring tools.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and security practices.
  • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices from major vendors (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
  • Experience with network monitoring tools, particularly ScienceLogic and its integration into network management practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and virtualization environments is a plus.
