Who You Are:
Our team is seeking a talented and creative Minecraft Animator who can use McHorse’s Blockbuster and Aperture mods to animate vanilla and non-vanilla storyboards and scripts to bring them to life whilst integrating content that is relevant and up to date with the latest trends in Children’s, Minecraft, Internet, and Popular Culture.
Your Responsibilities and Skills:
Animation Style Mastery:Proficient in animating in various styles, including:
- "Vanilla" style with custom camera paths via Aperture and first-person perspective, seamlessly blending with standard Minecraft gameplay. (Example: Link)
- "Vanilla" style with incorporation of unrealistic and meme elements to enhance viewer engagement. (Example: Link)
- "Clean" style, characterized by a stylized, cartoon animation aesthetic. (Example: Link)
YouTube Analytics Analysis:Skilled in analyzing key YouTube metrics and analytics, including Average View Duration (AVD), Click-Through Rate (CTR), Impressions, Average View Percentage (AVP), etc., to determine successful content elements and areas for improvement.
Initiative and Script Enhancement:Demonstrates initiative by enhancing provided scripts and instructions, improving animation quality, adjusting camera angles, and incorporating additional background elements as "Easter Eggs" to enhance viewer engagement and retention.
Requirements:
- Full and in-depth understanding of vanilla and modded Minecraft
- Experience and moderate understanding of McHorse’s Blockbuster and Aperture Mod
- Experience with creating and animating custom models
- Experience with animating facial expressions and rigs in Blockbuster.
- Ability to meet and understand deadlines.
- Ability to understand feedback and act on it.
- Preferable Additional Skills
- Experience using Replay Mod
- Experience with NPC mods in 1.16.5+ including CustomNPCs, CosmicNPCs, etc
- Experience with machinima filmmaking without Blockbuster in versions 1.16.5+
