We are seeking a Software Developer to join our team and play a key role in the Operations and Maintenance of mission-critical applications in an Agile environment. This role offers the opportunity to contribute across the software development lifecycle—from requirements gathering and analysis to implementation, debugging, and enhancement of an existing portfolio of custom applications.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting large, enterprise-level software development efforts and thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications in alignment with Agile methodologies
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues to ensure system reliability and performance
- Enhance and maintain a diverse catalog of existing applications
- Contribute to team efforts to improve system performance, scalability, and availability
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks, including:
- .NET, C#, Java 8.x, JavaScript, PL/SQL, Oracle DB, Node.js 12.x, Angular
- Experience developing with cloud and serverless technologies such as:
- AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, CloudFormation, Amazon S3
- Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum principles
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on system availability and reliability
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a fast-moving Agile environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
- Proven experience in a similar role, supporting complex software development projects in large-scale production environments
- Prior experience on federal government projects is a strong plus
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of internal management, as well as with external clients, stakeholders, and end users

Other Information
- The salary for this position is $55,000 - $90,000 annually.
