Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mobile App Deployment Manager to join our team. As the Mobile App Deployment Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless distribution and security of our mobile app across various platforms, including the Apple App Store and the Android Store. Success in this role requires initiative to identify and solve problems. You will work closely with our Product team, Chief of Innovation, and our external development partners to oversee the end-to-end deployment process, from initial testing to final release.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the deployment process for our mobile app, ensuring timely release and availability to consumers.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand app features, updates, and requirements for deployment.
• Manage app distribution platforms, including the Apple App Store and the Android Store, to upload and maintain app versions.
• Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve any issues or bugs prior to deployment.
• Implement security measures to protect user data and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Monitor app performance post-deployment and address any performance or security concerns promptly.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on deployment progress and any issues encountered.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and platform guidelines to optimize the deployment process.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience as a Mobile App Deployment Manager or similar role, preferably in a tech startup environment.
• (Preferred, not required) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• In-depth understanding of the end-to-end process of distributing custom mobile apps to the Apple App Store and the Android Store.
• Experience with managing app distribution platforms and familiarity with their guidelines and requirements.
• Strong technical background with knowledge of mobile app development, testing, and deployment methodologies.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in using deployment tools and version control systems.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring the security and reliability of deployed apps.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with distributing B2B apps and understanding of enterprise app deployment processes is a plus.

Equity-Based Compensation Opportunity:

As part of the SOULCHI team, you'll take part in our equity-based compensation model, aligning your success with the success of our business. After much research we have found the fairest equity model for a startup. We use the Slicing Pie model. First phase is equity-based only, which we are currently in. Equity calculations move dynamically based on your fair market rate and actual number of hours worked. In the second phase, which happens at the break-even point, the equity freezes at each member's current earned percentage and compensation switches to salary + benefits.
