What you will do to drive the energy transition:
- Automation and improvement of operational processes in the virtual power plant area, such as:
- Integration of decentralized plants into our virtual power plants
- Management of system malfunctions
- Preparation of quantitative data analyses for continuous optimization of the operational efficiency of the systems
- Collaboration in the prequalification of battery systems for the provision of balancing energy
- Execution and evaluation of plant test runs
- Monitoring and reporting of key performance indicators for service level agreements with business customers
- Close cooperation with developers and other specialist departments such as Customer Service, Trading Desk or Business Steering as well as external service providers and partners
What you will need for this:
- Successfully completed studies preferably in the fields of (business) engineering, (business) computer science or in a degree program with a technical background
- Experience in creating scalable processes
- Pragmatic approach and the ability to understand daily operational requirements and develop solutions
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on using data to investigate problems
- Understanding of the energy industry (in the European region) is a plus
- Programming skills and experience working with databases is a plus
- Convinced team player with a dedicated and structured approach
- Strong communication skills in German and English
