Staff Infrastructure Engineer- Ireland Remote

Location: Ireland ( Remote)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and extend our Kubernetes platform
• Improve Performance & Reliability of our production platform
• Ensure proper observability of the production systems
• Assist with database and service performance tuning
• Collaborate with Development Engineers on impacts of new features
• Identify architecture bottlenecks and work with Engineering on new solutions
• Collaborate with Support on operational runbooks

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years Kubernetes
• Terraform
• GCP Cloud and multi-cloud experience preferred
• Container lifecycle
• Programming Go, Python, or similar
• Database optimization
• Network level troubleshooting

Education and Experience:

• At least 6-8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 1 year experience; or equivalent experience preferred 
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
• GCP / GKE much preferred
