Responsibilities and more:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Azure Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and cost-effective Azure cloud infrastructure. This role requires hands-on experience with DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), system architecture, and cloud security. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Azure infrastructure: VNets, VMs, storage, and resource groups.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Deploy infrastructure as code using Terraform and ARM templates.
- Manage Azure App Services, ensuring high availability, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Monitor Azure resources and troubleshoot applications using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Implement secure API delivery through Azure API Management and API Gateway.
- Enforce cloud security best practices using tools such as Defender for Cloud, Snyk, and GitHub Advanced Security.
- Maintain clear infrastructure documentation and enforce standards across environments.
- Design scalable system architectures aligned with business needs.
- Configure and manage Azure networks: subnets, VPNs, NSGs, private endpoints.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing and deploying Azure-based infrastructure.
- Hands-on expertise with CI/CD automation and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong knowledge of cloud monitoring, cost control, and API management.
- Experience in system design and documentation best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud security principles and tools.
- Excellent communication skills and team collaboration abilities.
- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400) are a strong plus.
