As a 2D Unity Game Artist at SOFTGAMES you will be part of an agile team. You will work closely with a game designer, producer, other artist(s) as well as a team of developers on a new Casual Mobile title using the Unity engine.
You will be in charge of conceptualizing and implementing game art, UI as well as transitions and animations for new and existing games. You embrace typical technical constraints of the genre and you are familiar with game development. As part of the Unity workflow, you are not just preparing assets but also adding them into the visual layer of the game client in close collaboration with the development team.

Take ownership of UI, game art and animations from concept stage to (hands-on!) implementation
Team up, collaborate and iterate very closely with your game team
Demonstrate creativity and adaptability.
Your profile
You are passionate about games!
You have 3+ years of experience in game art.
You have a great sense of aesthetics, composition and color.
You have a strong affinity for UI/UX design.
You understand technical constraints and asset optimisation.
Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience with 2D animation transitions and special effects using Unity engine.
Spine 2D knowledge is a plus.
Fluent in English, strong communication and interpersonal skills and familiarity with working in an agile team.
