The Associate Director Global Publications is responsible for the strategic planning, development, and execution of global publication activities across assigned therapeutic areas. This role ensures alignment with the Global Publication Plans and the overarching Medical Strategies, while upholding the highest scientific and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Masters degree in life sciences or other relevant medical degree
- At least 5 years’ experience in publication management and proficiency in publication tracking tools (e.g., Pubstrat)
- Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry (e.g., Medical Affairs/Scientific Communications/Clinical or Preclinical Sciences etc.) or a medical communications agency supporting global pharma clients
- Experience working in the U.S. or in a U.S. affiliate a must
- CMPP certification an advantage
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to oversee multiple assets concurrently in a complex, matrix environment
- Ability to develop and accurately evaluate and analyse medical/scientific publications and literature
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated presentation and communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
