About the Role
We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer to join a small, close-knit full-stack team, where you’ll play a key role in building data-driven user interfaces and interactive web applications.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a mostly independent working environment, while still collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. You’ll be responsible for creating intuitive, high-quality user experiences, working with APIs, and translating complex data into clear, visual insights.
You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of your work, contribute to product decisions, and help shape the overall user experience.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain frontend applications using JavaScript and React
- Develop intuitive and responsive user interfaces with a strong focus on UI/UX quality
- Integrate with APIs to fetch, process, and display data effectively
- Create data visualisations and graphing components to present complex information clearly
- Collaborate with backend engineers and other teams to ensure seamless data flow and functionality
- Implement and manage authentication and related frontend logic
- Contribute to design discussions, ensuring usability and visual consistency across the product
- Work independently to deliver features end-to-end while maintaining high development standards
Requirements
- Solid experience with JavaScript and modern frontend development
- Hands-on experience building applications with React
- Experience integrating and working with APIs
- Exposure to data visualisation or graphing tools/libraries
- Understanding of authentication concepts and related frontend implementation
- Strong eye for UI/UX design and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a small team
- Good communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
Nice to Have
- Experience working in small, agile product teams
- Familiarity with modern frontend tooling and frameworks
- Experience working with complex or data-heavy applications
- Interest in improving user experience through data visualisation and design
