GB and US onlySmarsh is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect, Conduct to lead the architectural direction and evolution of their Conduct platform. The role involves defining and enforcing a coherent architectural strategy, making high-impact design decisions, and partnering with product management to translate market and customer needs into durable architectural requirements. The successful candidate will have experience in enterprise platform architecture, distributed systems expertise, cloud-native architecture, and security & compliance mindset.
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive experience in software engineering and architecture, with demonstrated progression into senior technical leadership roles
- Experience owning architectural direction for large-scale, distributed, multi-service platforms serving enterprise customers
- Demonstrated leadership in modernization, re-architecture, or structural platform evolution initiatives
- Background in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments where auditability and risk materially influence system design
- Practical experience integrating AI/ML or LLM-based services into distributed systems
