The International Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating the logistics of international moves, including managing customer expectations, coordinating with vendors, and resolving issues. The position requires strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and cultural awareness. The specialist will work with clients and vendors globally, occasionally working outside of standard business hours. The role involves managing and monitoring customer expectations, requests, and issues, and ensuring the success of each assigned move.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years of industry/freight forwarding experience or 3 years of related customer service experience
- Basic world geography
- Strong analytical skills and data-based problem solving
- Ability to identify potential problems and develop creative solutions
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to manage deadlines and operate in a fast-paced environment
- Results-oriented and strong teamwork and cultural awareness skills
- Secondary language skills a plus
