What You Will Own
- Design, develop, and executetest plans and test cases for Windows-based applications and systems.
- Validatesoftware packages, installations, upgrades, and configurations in Windows environments.
- Perform QA validationon endpoint management solutions, includingMicrosoft Intunedeployments.
- Test and troubleshootWindows OS deployments and task sequence issues across multiple versions (Windows 10/11, Windows Server).
- Support and validateVM environments, including provisioning, configuration, and testing.
- Install, configure, and troubleshootHyper-Venvironments and virtual machines.
- Validatefile system operations, permissions, and enterprise file management processes.
- Performregression, functional, and system testing across enterprise IT workflows.
- Documentdefects clearly and work with development to drive resolution.
- Supportautomation initiatives where applicable to improve QA efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6+ yearsof experience in QA Engineering with strong Windows ecosystem exposure.
- Hands-on experiencebuildingOS deployment imagesand task sequences for Windows 10/11 and Windows Server.
- ExperiencewithMicrosoft Intuneor similar endpoint/device management platforms.
- Strong knowledgeof software packaging, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience workingwithvirtual machinesand virtualization platforms.
- Practical experiencewithHyper-Vinstallation, configuration, and support.
- Backgroundin IT Helpdesk or Desktop Support environments.
- Solid understandingof file systems, permissions, and enterprise file management.
- Strong troubleshootingand root cause analysis skills.
- Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Background
- Experience with test automation tools or scripting (PowerShellpreferred).
- Familiarity with Azure-based environments and cloud-managed endpoints.
- Exposure to security practices, patching, and vulnerability validation.
- Experience in enterprise IT environments supporting multiple users/endpoints.
