United Kingdom onlyThe IT Security Engineer plays a crucial role in the IT Security Team at Signode within the Corporate EMEA IT department. This position involves architecting, implementing, and administering security systems, focusing on endpoint, cloud, and server security.
Essential Functions:
Administer IT security systems like network firewalls, email security systems, EDR/XDR solutions, and vulnerability management platforms.
Design and implement cloud, on-premises, and hybrid architecture.
Lead global rollouts of security management software.
Contribute to the IT security incident response team.
Evaluate new tools for innovative security solutions.
Position Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or IT, Technical Certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, AWS), Security Certifications (CCSP, SANS, ISC2, ISACA).
Experience: 5+ years in information security, hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure, and proficiency in security systems.
Skills:
General: Strong knowledge of application security, firewalls, server administration, databases, and emerging threats.
