Siete Family Foods

We are Siete Family Foods, a family-owned and operated company rooted in our Mexican-American heritage and a shared passion for real food that brings people together. Our journey began when our co-founder, Veronica Garza, was diagnosed with multiple autoimmune conditions as a teenager. To support her on her path to healing, our entire family of seven (siete!) adopted a grain-free diet. As a family from South Texas, where tortillas were a staple at every meal, this was a significant change. We missed the simple joy of sharing tacos and fajitas together, and lettuce wraps just weren't the same.

Determined to find a solution, Veronica began experimenting in her kitchen and created a delicious grain-free tortilla using almond flour. It wasn't just good; it was abuela-approved! Her grandmother even said they tasted better than the homemade flour tortillas she had been making for decades. That's when we knew we had something special that we couldn't keep to ourselves. In 2014, we started selling our tortillas at a local co-op in Austin, Texas, and Siete Family Foods was born. Our mission is to create delicious, heritage-inspired Mexican-American foods that cater to various dietary needs without sacrificing flavor. We believe that everyone deserves to enjoy the foods they love and feel connected to their culture.
