Senior Business Systems Analyst

We're Looking for an Experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to serve as the connective tissue between business operations and technology delivery. The Senior Business Systems Analyst will translate complex business and operational requirements into clear, actionable system specifications that enable Zinnia and SS&C platform teams and internal engineering to deliver with confidence. This role operates across four core platform areas — annuity and mutual fund custodial administration (Zinnia and SS&C), annuity order entry platforms, and sales enablement platforms — and is critical to reducing not-in-good-order (NIGO) errors, improving straight-through processing (STP) rates, and ensuring data integrity across the full product lifecycle.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or directly relevant analytical role
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Finance, Insurance, or a related field
• Deep familiarity with annuity and/or retirement product administration
• Proven ability to produce formally approved requirements documentation
• Strong data analysis skills
• Experience working directly with third-party platform vendors
• Solid understanding of business process modeling, data flow analysis, and system integration concepts
• Familiarity with agile delivery practices
