Saving Innocence is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit fighting human trafficking by providing crisis response, advocacy, and intensive case management for survivors of sex trafficking, with a focus on children.

About Saving Innocence

Saving Innocence is a Los Angeles-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing and restoring child victims of sex trafficking. Founded in 2010 by Kim Biddle in response to the alarming 2009 FBI findings that listed Los Angeles among the top 13 child sex trafficking areas in the nation, the organization has grown into a leading force in the anti-trafficking movement. We provide 24/7 crisis response, advocacy, and intensive case management for children recovered from sex trafficking alongside law enforcement. Our trauma-informed, survivor-centered approach ensures that every individual receives dignified, respectful support tailored to their unique needs.

We support and empower children and adults impacted by human trafficking by disrupting cycles of abuse and confronting exploitation through strategic partnerships and trauma-responsive education, advocacy, and systems of care. Our comprehensive services include prevention training for communities and service providers, personalized case management, one-on-one mentorship, life skills training, and judicial advocacy. As co-leaders of the Los Angeles Regional Human Trafficking Task Force, we partner with the LA Sheriff Department, Homeland Security, FBI, and U.S. Attorney's Office to deliver primary survivor care. We believe in empowering survivors to find and use their voices, helping them achieve safety, stability, and self-sufficiency while restoring their hope and dignity.
