The Manager of Public Safety serves as a key leader within the Public Safety Division, responsible for directing supervisors, coordinating operational performance and program governance, and ensuring staff provide exceptional security and service for employees, clients, contractors, and visitors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (preferred, or equivalent experience in-lieu of degree considered)
- 10+ years related security experience (including 3 years direct management or supervisory experience)
- Previous experience in large public assembly facilities (highly desirable)
- Active and participatory membership in security and venue relevant professional organizations (highly desirable)
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certified (highly desirable)
- ICS/NIMS coursework (highly desirable)
- Bilingual/multilingual (desired but not required)
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various documentation, financial reports, and legal documents
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Strong security background and customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to diplomatically and tactfully resolve difficult and sensitive situations
