Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Salla. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for developing test plans for existing and upcoming features and products, performing firm product testing, and communicating the results to key stakeholders. You will work closely with the development and product teams to ensure smooth and timely releases, collaborating with developers to identify and solve bugs. Additionally, you will own quality testing before each release and actively contribute to setting up good company quality processes and goals.

What You Will Do💡

• Understanding, implementing, and updating the testing approach.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Liaise with internal teams (developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
• Coaching other team members in relevant aspects of testing.
• Lead the development of complex test plans, ensuring coverage across functional, regression, especially for complex projects or modules.
• Define test cases, scenarios, and success criteria
• Communicate test results, risks, and issues clearly and concisely to stakeholders
• Conduct defect triage, and root cause analysis, and effectively prioritize defect resolutions.
• Maintain high-quality test documentation, providing detailed reports for decision-making.
• Support process improvements within the team, ensuring compliance with QA standards and conducting audits.
• Collaborate across departments, representing QA in cross-functional meetings and ensuring integrated test environments.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and automation teams to ensure smooth, bug-free releases and technology alignment.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the QA process
• Act as a domain expert to influence testing strategies and improve business processes through QA, aligning efforts across departments.
• Participate at the project team level and coordinate the work of the quality engineering team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional QA experience.
• Highly proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Understanding of all the test types, test designs, test levels, and test methods and techniques
• Demonstrate sound experience with Web, mobile, and API testing.
• Possess exceptional troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
• Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, katalon)
• Expertise in functional and non-functional testing tools (e.g., security, performance, usability testing).
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, guiding senior QA members in test design and execution.
• Experience in the e-Commerce field would be a plus.
  Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical mindset with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.

• Experience with AI-driven testing tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker).
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) and scripting for test automation.
