Our client is a global leading provider of products, solutions and services for energy and data management in the automotive industry.

Job Description

Join our global IT security team and play a key role in safeguarding and optimizing SAP access management across the organization. In this role, you will manage user access, roles, and authorizations in SAP systems, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with business needs. You will contribute your expertise to projects, lead initiatives to improve access control processes, and work closely with international teams to maintain a secure and well-structured SAP environment.

Your tasks:

  • Managing SAP user access, roles, and authorizations in SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC 6.0 in accordance with business and compliance requirements;

  • Administering and governing SAP role design, Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls, and security frameworks;

  • Participating in projects as a project member or leading specific SAP access management initiatives;

  • Troubleshooting authorization issues and supporting incident resolution processes;

  • Performing regular access reviews, internal audits, and enforcing best practice–aligned security policies;

  • Identifying and implementing improvements in authorization models and access control processes;

  • Maintaining up-to-date documentation and delivering key-user and end-user training when required.

Qualifications

Your skills:

  • Education in IT, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field (B.Sc./B.A. required);

  • Approximately 5 years of experience in SAP access management; experience with GRC or similar solutions is a plus;

  • Strong knowledge of S/4HANA and Fiori access management concepts;

  • Very good analytical and conceptual skills with a detail-oriented approach;

  • Proven change management capabilities and experience in process improvement;

  • Fluency in English (minimum B2 level); additional languages are an advantage;

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team.
